SEC-3010 UV Detector

190-740 nm, rapid scanning, 2 wavelengths output,

UV detection is probably one of the oldest techniques in chromatography and of undiscussed value. Applications in size exclusion chromatography GPC/SEC are usually limited, as most synthetic polymers do not absorb UV light. However, there are cases where UV is of great help, for co-polymer analysis for example, or in order to detect low molecular weight impurities.

The SEC-3010 UV detector is a rapid scanning instrument able to detect absorption at up to two wavelengths (between 190 and 740 nm) simoultaneously. This allows to detect compounds with different UV characteristic at the same time. The unit fits nicely in any other GPC/SEC system and of course can be also added to our SEC-3010 Systems.
